November RESPECT (Yellow) * Treat others the way you want to be treated. * Use good manners-Be courteous and polite to everyone. * Never make fun of people because they are different. * Deal with disagreements peacefully, no yelling or violence. * Take care of yourself, your property and the property of others. * Listen to others and try to understand their point of view.
December CARING (Red) * Be kind and considerate. * Be compassionate and show you care. * Express gratitude, say "thank you". * Forgive others. *Help people in need. *Be generous and give to others. * Share. *DON'T be mean, cruel or selfish.
January COURAGE (Silver) * Stand up for what you think is right, even if you are afraid to. * Be strong and make good choices. * Don't be afraid to admit when you are wrong. * Be a good role model. * Always speak the truth, even if you are afraid to - don't lie! * You can succeed even when others might think you will fail. * Stand up for those who need help. * Don't avoid something because you're afraid you might fail.
February FAIRNESS (Orange) * Play by the rules. * Share and take turns. * Be open-minded and listen to others. * Try to understand what others are saying and feeling. * Don't take advantage of others. * Don't blame others carelessly.
March CITIZENSHIP (Purple) * Play by the rules, obey laws and respect authority. * Be a good neighbor and friend. * Do your share to make your school and community better. * Be charitable and help by volunteering your time. * Return what you borrow. * Protect the environment and conserve natural resources. *Vote and attend community meetings.
April TRUSTWORTHINESS (Blue) * Be honest and tell the truth. * Keep your promises. * Don't deceive, cheat or steal. * Be reliable, do what you say you'll do and keep your word. * Return what you borrow. * Be loyal and stand by your family and friends. * Have the courage to do the right thing. * Act in a way that people feel they can trust you.
