The Rancho Library Gift Book Program was created to expand the collection in our school’s library by donations from families.  Throughout the years, this worthwhile program has greatly enhanced the materials available to our children.  We invite you to participate by adding a new hardcover book to the Rancho Library in honor of your child or family.  Commemorate your child’s birthday, special accomplishment, graduation, or other important occasion.  It’s also a wonderful way to celebrate a special holiday, honor a favorite teacher, or remember a loved one.

When you participate in this program, your child will be invited to a bimonthly library party.  They will be able to select from an assortment of books purchased by our Librarian, appropriate for their grade level.  Choices include fiction, non-fiction, biographies, sports, animals, fairytales, easy reading and picture books.  A bookplate with your child’s name and school year will then be placed inside the cover, and he/she will be the first to check out that book.  Last year, through this program, our school library was enriched with 187 books.

Please return this form with your tax-deductible donation of $18 for each book.  Additional forms will be available in the office.  Forms may be turned in at any time during the year.  It may take several weeks to process a book, so please get your orders in early.  Children with a summer birthday will receive their book on their half birthday.
